Luxe Interiors + Design 2019 - I contributed to the restoration of a historical gem in Atlanta, a 1911 home designed by Georgia architect Neel Reid. I teamed up with designer C. Brandon Ingram to build a new keeping room and bi-level back porch. We also added a pool and pavilion that tastefully match Mr. Reid's style.
The New American Home 2001 - built as the Showhome for the International Builders Show held in Atlanta. This home in Buckhead showcased new products for many manufacturers including Kohler, Georgia Pacific, Owens Corning, Timberlake, Bruce, etc. The home was featured in Builder Magazine and Ladies Home Journal. I was the Project Manager coordinating/scheduling/overseeing all construction as well as managing all outside teams for both magazines, the home designer, the interior designer, building scientist teams and NCHI manufacturer reps.
Better Homes and Gardens 2005- BHG's America's Home aka Better Living Home. This home was designed from input given by readers as to important things they wanted in a home and was given away in a sweepstakes by registering through the magazine website It was also featured on 10- 30 minute episodes on the Discovery Home channel . I was the Project Manager coordinating/scheduling/overseeing all construction, purchasing, as well as managing all outside teams. This home was unique in that it was built using SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels). I appeared in most of the episodes which started with design continued through construction and ended with the giveaway. Essentially, the walls and roof were all pre-fabbed panels shipped to the site. It was very energy efficient.
I was on the steering committee for the creation and roll-out of Atlanta's green homebuilding program, EarthCraft House which began in 1999. I built the first certified EarthCraft Home in Edmund Park and led our company through a 100% implementation of the program over the next year.
